MOSCOW - Russia and Turkey have agreed to create a demilitarized buffer zone by the middle of next month in Syria`s Idlib, the last stronghold of opposition rebels, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced Monday. The buffer zone in a 15-20 square-kilometer area will separate Syrian troops and rebels in Idlib and is expected to be in place by Oct. 15, Putin said at a joint news conference with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Sochi.
